I agree...not sure if you will agree with me lol. I do think Arguello would beat him, and perhaps even stop him. But over 12 I could see Tank taking it to the cards and losing a decision. And while Arguello could potentially stop him in 7 or less I think it is more likely to go to double digit rounds before a stoppage or going to the cards.
It isn't a fair thread. Gervonta has basically destroyed every B and C level fighter he's been in with, but he hasn't fought any A levels. He's still an unknown.
Alexis Arguello would turn into a Fairchild Republic Thunderbolt II- AKA a Warthog known as a Tank killer. Same day weighins. Arguello in 3. Before day weighins Arguello in 3.

I'm going to ruffle feathers here and say tank stops him late ! Hard hitting very fast and aggressive Arguello would have no time to think. Great fight
This is like matching Andy Ruiz vs Prime Sonny Liston. Gervonta Davis is a good fighter, but as the previous posts suggests, he is an unproven commodity at this stage in his young career. Alexis Arguello has already been proven, and aces the tests hands down. Davis only chance is to use lateral movement, which is a weakness in Alexis armor. But Arguello coolie figures out his young opponent, and throws out that long left jab of his, Arguello then crashes home a very crushing right cross that spills Davis onto his back, for the full ten count in round 4.
So you're agreeing with my point that Davis is unknown, and then you lay down a definitive pick of Arguello crushing Davis early when Arguello crushed no top fighters early 130. WTF?
