Trainer had exchanged words with shields team after they wouldn't let Bashir look at sheilds weight on the scales. After the weigh-in in the foyer of the venue shields brother came up behind Bashir and sucker punched him to the back of the head. Ko'd him cold he needed surgery after falling face first. He has now been re admitted to hospital with a bleed to the brain. Sheilds brother is a nasty piece of work surprise surprise and tried to flee the scene but ran into cops. From what I read Sheilds comments after it where horrible aswell. Claiming that her opponent has used this as an excuse to pull out the fight!! It's just horrible and really hope Bashir pulls through
It's a shame Shields's brothers act will tarnish her also, guilty by association. But to be honest, the whole lot of the Shields camp are scumbags, including her tbh.
yeah they are, also the first thing Sheilds did was deny that it was anyone involved with her that attacked him. From the interview I watched there was little to no remorse and she was more interested in trying to justify why he was attacked. that kinda tells you all you need to know
