**** fight, I hate it. But, it's not Usyk's fault. It is what it is.

I'm still pissed that Usyk OR Eddie/Matchroom ducked Takam after Usyk had to pull out. This would be a great fight.

But at least Usyk finally fighting at HW.

From what I heard they didn’t duck Takam. Takam signed a new promotional deal and part of that was a co promotion with Top Rank. Which although was not more financially lucrative the the Usyk fight they offered him a longer term and more money in the long run.

What is the point then? Really.

Sick of so many waste of time fights in boxing. This is nothing but an absolute waste of everyones time.

Usyk vs Chisora would have been the perfect fix for both of them and would have been a meaningful fight for the division.

At least he finally gets his long overdue debut at HW. I even prefered a journeyman over no fight at all.
Holyfield entered HW against an even lesser opponent back in the day, and that wasn't even a replacement but intended.

Takam was a bad fight as the guy lost many fights lately, Spong was awful fight as the guy isnt even boxer and now this is even worse. Ustinov was considered as replacement but this is awful honestly. Waste of time.

i actually understand having a weakazz warmup, it makes sense, nothing against anyone new to a division doing that, but lol my bad at thinking it was a fantasy fight.

As someone else said, if anyone ducked - it was Takam... or his management, risk vs reward against Usyk wasn't good enough so they didn't sign up to the new date.

People acting like Usyks stock drops because he is ducked, then the next guy feels he needs PEDs to have a chance - wtf is this all about. He hasn't even fought a HW yet and the heavies are PED+fight or flighting.
