So we've gone from Takam to Spong..and now we've really gone down into the gutters with this bum. What is the point in this? Like honestly...what does Usyk get out of this fight? I'm sure Eddie can do better than digging this deep for clowns like this guy. Takam was reasonable. That was a good first fight at heavyweight. Instead we get to see Usyk dominate a few rounds, where nothing much happens and Witherspoon gets knocked out.
You know the fights on Saturday right ? Id rather see someone get knocked out then not at all. Well Takam and Povetkin didn't want it, so I imagine he did and didn't get the Fights, Spong was a **** choice but as of the situation right now, Spong's to blame.
Whoever is disappointed by this, I get it, this has been a frustrating ride. Try finding a better opponent willing to fight Usyk on a couple of days notice in Chicago though, it is not easy.
