    Who would win?

Many times I have seen massive debates on ESB where people argue who would win between certain fighters, but one thing that is often not noted is the experience levels and where fighters were in their respective careers.

so for example who would win these fights at these respective times. So taking who had fought who at these times with the relevant experience each would or wouldnt have had or different weights they could still be growing into. How would these fights play out?

    Lomachenko/Mayweather
Lomachenko has just had fight 15, so who would win at LW between Lomachenko in fight 15 Vs Mayweather in fight 15
So at 15 fights who wins at LW. Lomachenko or Mayweather

    Wilder/Breazeale
When Wilder fought Breazeale. Wilder was on fight 42 and Breazeale on fight 22.
So had they both been on fight 22 who wins. Remember at this time Breazeale would have fought at a much higher level but Wilder would be very fresh.
So at 22 fights with who both have fought. Who wins

    Crawford/Taylor
Josh Taylor in his 13th fight scored his then biggest win which was also arguably Crawfords biggest win around 2 years previously in his 29th fight.
So if both were having fight number 13 and at LWW. Who wins

    Who wins and why?

Oh look, another idiot comparing numbers.
You can't compare number of fights and have that be the only variable, especially when talking about experience or else when Canelo fought Floyd he wasn't green.

You have to consider amateur background
A guy can have 250 amateur fights with 10 pro fights whereas another will have 45 amateur fights with 10 pro fights

    Nobody is comparing numbers.
If you don't understand the post, please move on. You have not understood.
I could take the time to explain but even then fear it would be lost on you.
Still you can view this thread feeling clever lol

    Yes agreed
But we are talking where they were as pros at this time and how those fights could have gone at those respective time lines
As i'm sure you know Lomachenko went for a world title in his 2nd fight. Very few fighters would be able to do that including many atgs. That is the amateur experience you note
This thread is a bit based on what you have said. Ie the experience and who would win if some of the more established fighters fought the respective opponent within the same sort of time in their careers

    I get what you're saying.

    Floyd over Loma:
Floyd was absolutely ready for Loma's level at 15 fights, he retired Genaro at only 18 fights. It's hard to call though, if you ask me next week, I may change my mind and say Loma wins. Either way, Floyd would not have been out of his league.

    Taylor over Crawford:
Crawford was at least 3 years away from his breakout performance and his competition wasn't very good (I had to go back and look at it, there weren't even usual suspects. He wouldn't have been ready).

    Wilder over Breazeale
We all know Wilder's competition was garbage. But his speed and power was still there, and it's not like he's improved as a boxer, he literally still does the same exact ****.

You would have different winners of course, all the advantage was to more experienced fighters ,particularly at HW bc they mature different.

I can answer the wilder one bc I fought his 22nd opponent years earlier and he would get flattened by Breazeale with same number of fights bc it took him forever to get to where hes at now and still cant box to the level of his power or near it. So I know where he was at that time bc his opponent level was around C and fell off that early . Lets not forget Wilder had a very shaky start and lucked out in fight 13th .

Not so sure about Maywether over Loma. The fact he went all in at fight 1 is a Maywether level fighter. Now hes nearly unbeatable so ? IDK,long hard shots is the way you beat Loma ,that wasn't Floyd, thats anyones guess but Loma continues to impress.

    Taylor probably gets Crawford.

Did you fight that opponent as an amateur or a sparring session?

do you think Crawford would have been ok with that sudden jump up in weight for that fight at that time? He wasnt facing the comp that Taylor was and was a SFW at that time
