Funny thing is, I would really like to see Peter against Liakovich. They really ought to have a senior's belt, like they tried for awhile with Holmes. These guys are going to fight anyway, so why not lower the bar a bit and let them fight each other?
Wilder is so envious ... and his team just had to spend 20 minutes explaining to him why he can't fight Peter as his next voluntary defense.
I'm disappointed in Makhmudov's opposition after Rice. Firstly he fough a Mexican, who was demolished in 2 rounds by Tom Shwarz, and now he is facing ancient Samuel Peter who is fighting only for paydays now. I won't be surprised if Peter quits after round 1. I think Makhmodov should be fighting guys like Rodney Hernandez and Joey Dawejko instead.
Yeah not a great opponent but I guess it's ok for his 10th pro fight. I'd rather see him in with someone like Dawejko as well.
Of course Makhmudov and Kean could have just fought each other instead but that's the HW division for you.
Kean is slowly turning in to worse than a gatekeeper level. He doesn't stand a chance in this future match up between both.
Just caught this . I have Sirenko at number 1 prospect ,Ali Bashir is his trainer I hope it doesn't effect his career with the cowardly attack taken place ,with Bashir hes the top guy most likely to take over the HW's .
I had him on my top 50 list but removed him bc I thought he was a CW ? Is he at HW ? Hard to tell hes tall and cant find any English fights with him commentating .
Edilov is a good MMA fighter when hes able to incorporate physical grappling into it but he will be knocked out with counter rights with the first puncher that throws back and lands .
