Pretty sure Canelo ruled out the fight after GGG and Deravyenchenko was signed, meaning when he was scheduled to fight for a title, but hey, if It fits your narrative when you have your head far up in Canelo's ass by all means.

If only you weren't such a dishonest blind nuthugger who'd lie his ass off to defend your hero, you'd know that Canelo himself said that there was no weight issues between him and Golovkin after he beat Khan.

'Suddenly steps up' - you're a riot man. Canelo could of fought him way earlier but didn't want to know as he was looking to wait him out as along as he could. He said he was going to fight him post Cotto and yet the fight happened how much longer later?

The 'step up' funnily coincides with him ageing. Crazy eh? I mean it's almost like the division didn't want to know him in his physical prime...

Well Canelo calls the shots, he's already 1 up on GGG, he's fighting a much tougher foe in Kovalev and win or lose GGG needs Canelo for his legacy and bank account more than vise versa. So if Canelo decides to take a tune up against GGG before facing a young hungry lion, more power to him.

"I will fight anyone between 154-168."
    -Gennady Golovkin 2012-2013-2014-2016-2017

"Lets make the fight happen at 155"
-Canelo calling GGGs bluff in 2016

In case math isn't your strong suit, 155 is between 154-168. GGG was the one who did not want it in 2016.

We all know the 154 offer was nonsense that he for some reason thought might have drawn Mayweather into a fight and if Canelo had not been fighting at middleweight then I wouldn't have expected him to fight Golovkin but he won the title, made a promise and then shat himself.

It's crazy how you hang on to that nonsensical quote regarding 154 to 168 but gloss over Canelo promising to fight Golovkin post Cotto and then reneging on that straight away.

"There's no weight issue, I'll fight Golovkin at 160."
-Canelo after he beat Khan in 2016

"Fight didn't happen in 2016 because Canelo wanted it at 155!"
-Isal the pathological liar, the crazy nuthugger

Oh, we ALL know it was nonsense. Despite repeating it from 2012-2017. LOL

Just like GGG was about legacy first, money second, unifying first, fighting only the best after he signed with DAZN and then fights Roles lmao!!

Come on man, get YOUR head out of GGGs ass.

    He's a walking contradiction.

Canelo had never fought at the full 160 limit when he made GGG that offer.

GGG also bitched out on fighting Ward at 168 but was happy to fight JCCjr and Froch at 168.

I think the GGG hype got the best of you GGGoons.

The sort of hyperbole he spouts is really laughable if anyone looks in detail at it

I will fight anyone between 154-168 (rejects Canelo at 155 in 2016., and then Ward at 168)
I would not fight a welterweight, its bad for boxing
All I care about is unifying MW (takes step aside money twice)
I will only fight the best (fights Roles almost immediately) lol
I'm about legacy first, business second unlike Canelo (then flips and says business is most important.) lol

    Ok fellow lol

There's something deeply wrong with you man. Golovkin's clearly been about money for years. He was desperately chasing money fights for a long time before the top guys in his division started finding their balls. Froch was a big draw and that was a money fight that would of allowed him to test the water at 168 and get a career high payday simultaneously.

See the above looks at Golovkin objectively. Something your dumb ass knows nothing about.

All Golovkin had to do was call Canelo's bluff, but instead it was Canelo calling Golovkin's bluff.

lol, you get so emotional dude, its kind of pathetic, its just boxing.

There's something deeply wrong with you for taking this to heart and feeling the need to address your concern about me. HAhahaa...

Bro, GGG was sold on his fake campaign in beating Hopkins' record, or unifying the entire MW division, on having this Mexican attitude and style about guts and glory, when in fact all that was a sham to hype him up because you couldn't hype him using his weak record.

Thinking someone is weird for acting like you do is fairly normal.

No Golovkin defence of his interim title should be counted as world title defences and I don't know anyone other than those trying to generate hype in the media who recognise them as legit or him threatening Hopkins record.

His resume wasn't great. We all know this and I really can't be bothered to explain to you how Sturm, Martinez, Cotto, JCC Jr., Canelo and Jacobs (for a long time) Quillin, BJS and CEJ and others all bought into the Golovkin hype and didn't want to fight him. Some of them may have beaten him but we'll never know as they flat out refused to fight him at his peak.
