I suggest you rewatch both fights, especially rd 10 of the rematch.

Almost no doubt Canelo softened Golovkin up. Golovki had never taken a beating like the ones Canelo administered in their two fights. You can make yourself believe GGG won those fights, its your prerogative, but an undeniable truth is that Golovkin had never taken so many clean power punches to the head and body.

Even following the first fight I made a thread stating that Golovkin would not be the same after the fight, and since Golovkin got beat Mexican style by Canelo, looked less than spectacular beating a nobody in roles, and just lost to Derevyanchenko.

 

There is not much GGG can do to be ranked higher than Canelo.

Canelo's resume s**** all over Golovkin's.

 

Golovkin won the rematch far clearer than their first, infact Canelo was outlander in both fights, in most of the rounds, rocked in both fights, tested positive TWICE prior to the rematch and still somehow come away with a W.

 

I know both fights well. At best Golovkin stunned Canelo for a couple seconds. Here is the clip. Golovkin was unable to land anything meaningful following the 1-2 that landed and Canelo immediately goes back to teeing off on Golovkin's face.

It's funny how the majority of Canelo haters were saying GGG would KO Canelo, and after 24 rounds did not once even as much as buckle his knees. Lol

Absolutely not, that was the justification used by GGGoons to justify his gift against Dchenko.

I score like this:

defense- Canelo won both times
clean effective punches- Canelo won both times
ring generalship- GGG has a good argument for winning six rounds of this in the first fight and Canelo the other six. 1-3, and 10-12 for Canelo and 4-9 for GGG.
effective aggression- Golovkin missed 70% of his punches, which btw were mostly jabs, and failed to hit Canelo to the body, and was the recipient of the harder punches.

Oh, so that's how you score. Sorry to tell you but pros aren't scored like the old amateur days, the amount of punches isn't directly factored in the scoring. 10 pawing or measuring jabs in the pros is not equivelant to a few power punches landing clean.

I made a thread about scoring after their fight and it proved most people DKSA scoring pro fights.

 

I've owned you in this entire thread. FFS you don't even know how to score a pro fight. You're using that GGG landed an avg of about 2.5 more punches per round to justify a win, punches which btw were jabs LMAO.

And yes, look at GGGs reaction after Canelo lands the beautiful left hook to the liver.

 

Not everyone can throw to the body like Canelo or indeed DV?I know it used to wind you up when some folk said Golovkin could not be hurt?I never subscribed to that and there's no denying Canelo was the first to engage him to the body and beat him up.
Did you see the video Serge posted about Canelos chin?man he took some uppercuts straight on the chin off Golovkin,tapped his gloves together and came forward lol.
Golovkin imo looks weakened from those fights.It's been suggested that we don't know yet if Canelo has.
Guess we'll find out against Kovalev.

 

I suppose you think Adelaide Byrd, CJRoss, Dave Moretti & most of the Vegas "judges" are great judges when all of em should be judging ice dancing or flower shows ROFL
