We're talking about an aging Povetkin and a surging Hunter here man. That said it should still serve as truth serum as to whether or not Hunter is truly a top 10 HW or not. Povetkin while clearly in the decline is still hovering somewhere between 5-10 in the division.

I'll pick Hunter in this one. Povetkin is/was a great fighter, but his time is coming to an end and Hunter is a very under rated fighter with an excellent boxing brain. He's got skills to give the best in the division in their prime significant troubles.
We know he's the huge, and I mean huge favorite over Witherspoon, and so much that people call it a total mismatch despite it being at 4 days notice. There's a reason why the poll is so extremely wide in Usyk's favor. How is Hunter a nobody, and how is current Povetkin in any way what he was in his prime and would wipe the floor with Hunter ending by KO7?! It's been almost 3 years since Povetkin wiped the floor with anyone, let alone a top20/30 heavyweight. Everyone knows Povetkin is on the slide. He hardly does KO anyone anymore and even struggled a bit with Price for crying out loud! Hunter is the close favorite against current Povetkin, and rightly so.
