Can you please explain what this means? For me Usyks done more than Holyfield has at CW. I don't have any issues at all with picking Holyfield but experience/lack of footage from Usyk seems like a poor reason why imo
Who said anything about a CW fight or resume ?This is a head to head fight here . Not sure what there is to explain beyond my initial post ? One guy is proven more against higher level guys ,and the other is 16 fights in and has no HW record as a pro but shows hes a commodity to produce a what if fight here .
Tbf you shouldn’t be allowed to talk about Usyk considering you said Trey Lipp was not only the better fighter but he would go on to have the better career.....
Both greats, both have had fights which show the opponent can win. Holyfield looked trash vs Moorer and Ibragimov (southpaws) - albeit old. Usyk lost rounds to Breidis who Holyfield can emulate and do better than.
Different level of fighter Holyfieldvwalks straight through usyk and outworks him inside. Wide UD or late stoppage for Holyfield. Cannot see it any other way
Styles make fights. Holyfield fought and lost to southpaws who weren't on his level greatness-wise. A slick one in Usyk isn't one he matches up well against, so I favor Usyk on points in a tough fight.
Pretty pointless tbh as Holly was PED fuelled in the HW division so we don't really know how a drug free one would do.. Imagine fuelling up Usyk now and seeing the improvement in power et al.. Plus Usyk hasn't even fought at the weight yet..
Agreed 1000%. After the way Holyfield destroyed Moorer, Byrd, and Ibragimov, I don't see any southpaw having success against him.
