Interesting Seth Mitchell stopped this younger, fresher, full-camp Witherspoon in 3 rounds.

Seth Mitchell is poetry in motion. His effortless motions resemble a hummingbird in flight. His graceful movements are like nothing heavyweights have ever seen.

Yeah I saw that live and that was the expected outcome. Because Seth Mitchell as glass jawed as he was. Hit like a frigging Mack Truck. Is this supposed to prove something? Or are you just being a **** starting little *****? It took Tony Thompson 9 rounds to stop Chazz, are you trying to claim Thompson who stopped Pricex2 isn't as good as Mitchell? This means nothing, other that stating the obvious, Usyk isn't a power puncher. Nothing to see here folks but another hater desperately pushing an agenda.

Seth Mitchell showed that puny Usyk how it was done. So did grandpa Tony Thompson. I seen enough to write this cruiserweight off as a threat to the top guys. The facial damage was evident.

Seth Mitchell was a glass cannon. He was expected to bomb guys like this out. No one expected Usyk to bomb Witherspoon out because that's not the way Usyk fights and it doesn't play to his strengths.

Usyk is more comparable to Chris Byrd than Seth Mitchell :boxing1

    And so it starts.

There’s a select few on here who cannot change the script when it comes to EE fighters, the hate runs deep.

And for the record Usyk would destroy Mitchell.

Really dumb post. So if Muhammad Ali fought Witherspoon and didn't knock him out in three rounds like Seth Mitchell did he would be somewhat inferior in your view? Uysk fought a smart fight and broke his opponent down in pretty dominat fashion. He is not powerful heavyweight but make no mistake, he will be a handful for anyone. His footwork and ring IQ is iff the charts.

Just a side note but I was kind of disappointed Mitchell didn't decide to continue his career. He was limited in what he could ever achieve, but he was a fun fighter to watch with hellacious power. Reminded me a bit of a poor man's Earnie Shavers, which is nothing to sniff at.

Mitchell was 241lbs of premium NFL juice and he could crack hard

    Mitchell 241.5lbs - Witherspoon 231.5lbs

    Arreola 239lbs - Witherspoon 220lbs

    Thompson 250lbs - Witherspoon 234lbs

    Usyk 215lbs - Witherspoon 242lbs

Go watch how many flush full power bombs Witherspoon took from Arreola

Excellent chart showing how grossly out of shape Witherspoon was for Usyk. You should also put his age alongside every bout.

I remember spoon shaking up Mitchell and exposing him a little in this fight ahead of the banks upset

I was just coming in here to say that. Witherspoon definitely exposed Mitchell's frailness despite the loss. He didn't expose anything here. Usyk did what he had to do to shake the cobwebs out pummeled Witherspoon into submission without showing his best. a bit lethargic maybe compared to what we've come to expect of him? Yeah sure. But even a primer and ready Usyk is slow to get the ball rolling and takes time to read his opponent before going through the gears. Look at all of the lethargic showings the divisions best have had against subpar opposition and then tell me this was a horrid showing that damages Usyks stock.
