Why would Tyson Fury's eye injury prevent him training?

It's been said that Fury can't train at all until his eye is fully healed.

I can understand why he wouldn't be able to spar but why would the cut prevent him doing other forms of training e.g. roadwork, weights, speed bag, punch bag, skipping etc...

    I expect he still trains,

Working out will stimulate the immune systemand help with healing the wound

I heard that Fury wouldn't be able to train at all from some guy (I can't remember his name) on the radio who had no involvement in Fury's camp.

Because of this was an apparently impartial and medically based view, I thought it was probably true.

But then again, Tyson has this ridiculous WWE bout in less than 3 weeks...

On a separate point, how can anyone be taken in by WWE when it's so BLATANTLY FAKE????

Is it any different from seeing a play or a movie?

Yes. Because in a play or movie the acting is meant to be convincing.

Fury's lineal belt is pointless. It's not quite the same.

I’m not a wrestling fan, but theatre acting is not at all convincing.

It’s always ridiculously overacted, exaggerated, ham-fisted, etc.

I would say theatre and wrestling have about the same level of acting. Wrestling has better props though.

It sounds like you've been going to the wrong productions.

    Yes, good point actually.

Boxing is totally fake. None of the punches land, each reaction is faked.

Benny Paret, Johnny Owen, Davey Moore, Jimmy Doyle, Ernie Schaaf and Frankie Campbell actually faked their deaths and are all alive and well.
