There's no more fights left, we shall have to see how it turns out now. If Frank can some how guarantee unification or some other type of massive fight, then he'll stay with Frank, I reckon
Me too. Josh gets top billing from Frank and BT Sport. Seems to be working well enough for all parties. Does he walk away from that to be one more fighter in the Matchroom stable? Are they any more likely to get the big fights over the line?
Would he fairly harsh to leave Warren, the unification not happening was fairly unfortunate with people moving up. Russell holding a belt is a shocker as well
The thing is though he would be “just another fighter at matchroom” but they’re constantly paying big purses over in the states which is what Warrington is now after. Frank has been good to him and guided him well, if he can promise a unification then I’d assume he stays there. If he can’t he will go where the money is whether that’s big fights or not - see Billy Joe Saunders.
Yes fair point. If half empty stadia fighting 'ranked four with the IBF' stiffs is all that's on offer then he should do one. Stylistically he should do well in the US.
I think he'd be better of staying with Frank he is headlining cards and is one of BT Sports backed fighters. IMight be a idea to get him on The Fury Wilder card if at all possible. Russell Junior Warrington would be a good fight, Russell would be a good favourite in my eyes but it would be a great fight none the less.
Saunders was guided to two world titles by Frank, backed by BT and headlining. Frank put up with so much of his **** too, ultimately Saunders left for money. Fighting on matchroom USA undercards pays more than headlining on Sky/BT in the UK. That’s the reality.
Josh will stay with Warren even though it will cost him millions in lost potential revenue in my opinion. Can’t see him being a world star even if he switched anyway he just doesnt have that spark for me.
