You have GOT to be kidding me. Presenting boxing basics as a big secret! Tyson slipped a jab, stepped foreword and landed his own! Who would have guessed!!!!!

 

I don’t think Tyson had a bad jab, but it was simply over shadowed by Tyson’s other gifts.

 

Tyson was very effective with his jab in his prime. He was able to beat his opponents to the punch or jab, or slip and use a counter jab. A lot like Qawi when he was at the top of his game. A fighter doesn't have to be taller with a longer reach to be effective with the jab.... But it does help.

 

Was his jab underrated? Ive always had Tyson down as an excellent jabber.

When did Dundee say that? Because I usually heard Dundee praise Tyson.

 

What were you expecting, a magic trick? If you’d kept watching the video you would have seen that the coach breaks down the nuances in the different ways that Tyson slipped and counter-jabbed.

Gerry Cooney would of knocked him out just like he did Norton.

 

The best jabbing I saw Tyson do against a taller skilled fighter was against Tucker, he showed he could actually box tall guys in that fight, not just go in for the kill. It was a measured performance in comparison to other fights.
