Yep - especially if you review all of his pictures. They’ve photoshopped him to look like Tony Bellew in that particular pic...bet he never thought people would be aspiring to look like him ha.
There’s a video on Ruiz Instagram from that photo shoot which instantly confirms the pic is filtered and photoshopped to hell. He’s lost a couple of pounds for sure but nothing like that picture portrays.
Yup and keeps both his clients happy if AJ does win to generate big paydays for Usyk and AJ until that big unification grows. He also has signed most of the Heavyweight division. My guess is the plan based on the rankings position is have Fury called to fight Usyk for the vacant title which i think is actual difficult fight for Fury, however they wil not accept as the have signed to Wilder therefore removing Fury from the mandatory position. Therefore it will be called for Parker to fight Usyk for the vacant belt. AJ will fight Pulev in his mandatory after a couple of tough fights against Ruiz and it wouldnt suprise me if this is in UK but screened on ESPN to get them to spend their budget in a fight that doesnt draw. Hunter/ Povetkin winner will then likely be called as mando for WBA belt giving another option aswell as the Usyk fight. The pan is to freeze Wilder out. If Wildr beats Fury he has a few options to fight Ruiz and Kownacki being two, however these fights will have to be for millions and on PPV and I am not sure they genrate too much interest in terms of PPV buys. Ruiz would want AJ fight level money which would mean they would need to do close to a million buys which will not happen with Ruiz coming off a loss to AJ. Heanr's definitely making moves and has 3 fights atleast lined up for AJ with good paydays should he win.
Unbelievably Fury is now suggesting that his WWE commitments may postpone the Wilder rematch. When asked if his sudden switch to wrestling could impact the Wilder fight Fury replied: ‘There’s a hell of a chance of that.’ Seriously, WTF?
No talk of Hearn screwing the travelling fans over with his misinformation regarding visas? Fans who have ordered tickets are surprised that there was no mention of visas upon purchasing, only to dig for info themselves to find out they have to fork out an extra 100 bucks for the visa. When someone emailed matchroom for an explanation, they emailed back saying the info at the press conference was a guideline not confirmation. Would love to hear Tony Hayers thoughts. Can only imagine his view if this was Warren.
Oh dear - that's quite an oversight. I could be remembering wrong, but didn't Hearn say that special visas would be issued as part of the ticket package?
Think he repeatedly said that "all who purchase tickets would automatically get a visa". Very misleading statement, although tbh if people are forking out hundreds and possibly thousands for flight tickets and accommodation, what's an extra £100 really? Still poor form from a money hungry weasel...
In fairness to Eddie it’s the Saudi government that benefit financially from visas. I have had opportunities years ago to work there and fortunately never been desperate enough to actually go ! Let’s face it it’s not exactly Butlins , the political climate stinks and with a massive royal family even their oil business cannot support their lifestyle hence the sporting initiative to develop other revenues.
These sporting events will not generate anything near the money you think. The Saudis are overpaying massivly. It's all a huge PR stunt for the country.
We know that Eddie doesn’t benefit from the visas financially. The point is that Hearn said that anyone who buys a ticket for the fight will automatically be given a visa. A very misleading statement to say the least.
It may well do. I went to Russia for the World Cup. With my tickets I got visa on entry. Same has happened in places like Turkey I’ve been to with football. So i’d hold off the assumptions for now.
I’m a big AJ supporter but Lance Armstrong successfully passed over 500 drug tests during his career not one blip
