Forgive me because I suck at math, but there's roughly 1,300 featherweights ranked by Boxrec, making the median 650. I don't think Salido fell into that category. I also have a hard time believing that a man who was near continuously rated in the top-10 for 7 years, along with being #1 at 126 (2012) and who should have been at 130 (most saw him beat Vargas), was "average". I'm not pumping him up as an all-timer, but let's be fair. And as I said above, the Salido fight has zero bearing on this discussion.
