    even tho he fought past prime legends he still fought them when they were elite level

    I really do not know why he is hated on so much, the guy had such an awkward style and good volume workrate

    he wasa good fighter

    solid world class he somehow beat elite roy jones. Joe was only joking when three years early he said he would be disappointed to fight jones now he was shot.

    thats not all, Enzo mac knocked out the same elite jones in a few rounds, so Enzo Mac is a bigger legend than Joe! Start an ATG Enzo thread mate. Dont sell enzo short.

    Yeah. We have guys on this forum all the time saying age doesnt matter. Of course it matters.

    Jones was a guy who did great when he could get by on his freaky good reflexes.

    The things is, his fundamentals were not that great. Once he slowed down a tad he was vulnerable and paid the price.

    Best win was Kessler and it’s no secret in boxing circles he was forced into it, just like he did not want to face Jeff Lacy.

    People love to crap on Calzaghe but he was a tough fight for anyone. That weird, frenetic slapping style was not easy for opponents to deal with. Effective.
