He is so heavy handed , sometimes I dont even see him sit on his punches and he throws powerful punches. It's rare to see a combination of both in one now a days slick ,defensive IQ with power. Crawford reminds me of a Tommy Hearns in a way He carried his power well coming up to 147 stopping all 3 opponents horn ,Benavidez, Khan Pretty Impressive I think Crawford would stop Spence , Pacquiao and Porter
It's funny, I don't compare him to Hearns because of power.... But they both kind of have the same look, they have that dreaded staredown and come to ring looking like they are ready to f**k sh*t up. Crawford has always reminded me of an 80's fighter just with his whole persona.
Crawford is a much better technical fighter and has a much higher boxing IQ. But Hearns had true one punch stopping power and didn't care about technique. There is no real comparison between the two except they both won titles
With the exception of the body shot KO of Indongo, Crawford has never scored a spectacular HL reel one punch KO finish over a world class fighter despite the fact that he often has a significant weight, reach or both advantage over his opponents. However, supposedly light hitter Loma has done it numerous times despite him usually being the one who is at a significant weight, reach or both disadvantage. Crolla would've had at least 7lbs on Loma This content is protected Martinez did have 7lbs on Loma This content is protected And Loma can >>Crawford's body shot KO of Indongo against the much better and heavier Linares who has never been stopped to the body or by someone who he outweighed by that much Linares would've had at least 7-8lbs on Loma This content is protected Crawford hits pretty hard but he's no one punch KO artist, whereas, conversely, Hearns could literally punch holes in castle walls with that savage right hand of his
