One judge had it 87-83 Gvozdyk ATOS come on man. I had it for The Nail by 1 point at the time of stoppage, but have no issue seeing it the other way around. 6-3 Gvozdyk though...That judge needs a new prescription.

I've always said it. I always said Beterbiev was special and I based it on the eye test. My eyes don't deceive me, I know if a boxer is a special breed. I rated him a p4p talent before this fight, go look at this thread https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/beterbiev-or-gassiev.638045/ , people were trying to play it off as if Gassiev was better than Beterbiev.. the dude who struggled against 40 year old Lebedev. If Lebedev was a LHW, BEterbiev would have destroyed him worse than he did Gvozdyk.

Didn't they fight as AMs? In any event, I think I'd back Kovalev if he was still in his prime. Kovalev is a better boxer than the Nail IMO and is also the better puncher. Still it would have been a great fight to see but now I think Kovalev get's stopped. Kovalev doesn't have very many fights left in him and he should stay away from a puncher who brings pressure.

Beterbiev would absolutely beat Dre into a pulp 100 times out of 100

Guys please spell out Beterbiev. Saying positive things and then saying "AB" might have some thinking that we're talking about Broner! Jokey joke.

Hell, he had to do it, Gvozdyk was holding on for dear life constantly.

He was doing it well before Gvozdyk started holding on. He's a dirty fighter, just look at what he did to Callum Johnson in the first round of their fight.

I want Kovalev to win but a large part of me wants Canelo to win also, just so he is forced to fight Beterbiev in a mega money unification and then Beterbiev violently knocks him out in front of all the Mexican cartel members.....

Yeah I think Beterbiev won them all right? Kov thought he got robbed though my memory serves me correct. It would have been a true 50/50 I would back Beterbiev, but as much as I dislike Kovalev, I can't deny his talent in his prime and the fact that his mid-long range boxing would have gave Beterbiev issues.

Bob had it on his payroll.
You could tell Gvozd was the in-house fighter.
Corrupt ref kept protecting him all night long.

Where was the violence? The guy gave out from running himself ragged (and yes a few body shots) but he went down three times in the final round without getting hit clean on any of them.

Uh this is a Beterbiev thread. Why would you think of Adrien Broner? When you read BJS in a Billy Joe Saunders thread do you somehow confuse it with blow-jobs?

Workmanlike performance from Beterbiev. I was disappointed that Gvodzyk folded like that after showing some good boxing early on. He wasn't fighting an old man tonight though. Hopefully Atlas gets him in better condition going forward, and has him work on that weak torso.
