Deontay lands that right hand like nobody's business. There's a lot of techniques that Deontay uses that many could learn from.

I could see Gvozdyk learning a great deal by watching more Deontay Wilder.

Wilder's 1-2, the pull counter, as well as using the jab as a rangefinder is brilliant stuff. The man boxes very well.

Gvozdyk had many opportunities to land that big right but it just seemed like he was overwhelmed. Wilder would have found ways to land that uppercut and that big bomb of a right hand.

It'd be good. Lots to learn.

 

No one should ever study Wilder.

 

Well, that's precisely why almost nobody is as good as him.

 

There are 1000s of fighters better than him.
In fact there's at least 25 better that are active now.

If you want to study landing the right hand, watch somebody like Marquez, Arguello, Hearns or Ricardo Lopez.

 

I see Wilder doing things better than those men, with respect to all of them of course. Wilder has sound technique, moving while punching.

Going backwards and landing that pull counter.

He does things those guys can't do.

Wilder's birthday is in 3 days.
I'll celebrate by watching his battles with Molina and Duhaupas.

 

His techniques consist of a straight cross, a forceful jab and an assortment of windmills.

He doesn't pull counter. He times people, big difference. He pulls down people's defence, he doesn't pull counter.

Wilder does absolutely nothing that those guys can't, he is a good fighter, by falls short of ATGs like the fighters I mentioned.

 

gvosdyk should learn to fight off his jab and pace himself in fights.

 

He should learn to not fight Beterbiev

 

Yes Gvosdyk can learn so much from the guru sage boxing master that is Windmill.

Top 10 idiotic posts on here and that says something. Gvozdyk is a decorated amateur who knows how to box. Wilder is a flailing windmill who relies only on power.

A knee jerk reaction to a fight between two outstanding fighters. Someone has to lose. People might have been sleeping on Beterbiev but look at his record - he has heavy hands.

 

If it was that easy then everyone would be doing it.

 

Beterbiev would KTFO Wilder aswell.

 

Wilder should study gvodzyk and fight in unification fights.
