My missus reckoned he looked like Spud from Trainspotting.

Haha, if he walked around Wigan though he’d look like a cast member from Love Island.

If Fitzy was struggling to make weight it's definitely news to me......

Gotta feel sorry for the lad. He did win rounds with his footwork & jab and if it’s an amateur fight he wins clearly. Perhaps that’s what he’s struggling to get his head around with the result.

However, it’s the pro game and you have to ask...who’s truly fighting who’s fight, who’s holding centre ring trying to force the action...who’s really dictating the pace? When they do get into the exchanges, who’s landing the cleaner, harder shots and really hurting their opponent? I don’t have a big problem with Fitzy or Cheeseman winning it, but if a gun was pointed to my head I would probably give Fitzy the nod in retrospect.

Ritson is better than I thought but still won’t go further than euro. Davies has to ask himself what he wants to do because if he can’t beat a limited lad coming up in weight.... think they’ve both found their level.

Absolutely fantastic fight. Credit to both guys. I had Ritsin winning by about 3 rounds, his left hock was main difference throughout the fight. A fantastic night of boxing.

Tremendous fight. The 50/50 British/Euro level match ups always produce the best fights.

Bloody hell.. I like Cheeseman and thought he boxed well but just because he didn’t block everything with his face for once didn’t mean he won and was done by a robbery... like you said won’t help when he watches it back and Smith is acting like he’s a prime Mayweather in there

It is a tough one for Ted because he boxed really well. The problem is judges don’t like that style. Look at Hughie vs Parker, I personally thought Hughie won but the judges prefer the guys that stand and trade. Fitzy was the aggressor and was holding centre of the ring well and as I said earlier on I had Fitz up by 1 but wouldn’t have argued with a draw.

After his few recent fights people questioned Ted, his health and his future in the sport, his face was his defence and it was getting brutal. That Garcia fight was pure punishment. He looked So one dimensional and like another Eggington in the making but a massive fair play to him, his footwork and movement were brilliant last night. If Ted can continue to box like that (and get the gas tank sorted so he can do it for 12) then he definitely has a future in the sport.
