Honestly don’t think there’s any harm in threads going off topic a bit. We all come on here several times a day engaging with each other about boxing, only natural that a bit of our real world’s are revealed as rapports are built. Makes the place feel like more of a community and means arguments are less likely to happen. Just gotta go with the flow and have a bit of a crack.
Yeah a little off topic is okay but it was becoming as many pages about uni as it was about Nathan Cleverly, which just didn't seem right. Nothing wrong with going a little off topic but eventually get back on it before a thread gets filled with just chit chat.
I don't mean to be harsh because I like him, but the thickest high profile British boxer has to be Scott Quigg. I remember that Sky documentary on him prior to the Frampton fight. He really is genuinely quite slow. Got thrown out of school too IIRC. But yeah I like Scott, a warrior in the ring and seems like a good honest hard-working pro.
Agreed. Big frampton fan but felt bad watching him tear into quigg. The boy in primary school eating the crayons had me in stitches.
I jumped straight to the last page and it did make me lmao...was thinking 7 pages seemed loads for Nathan Cleverly! Hilarious to see it went off topic about uni lol
