Who is calling Beterbiev an ATG?

It's not like Hot Rod, Koelling and Callum Johnson were bad wins either. Dude has a decent resume, but still plenty more to do. It's early days for him so why make that comparison now? Beterbiev is also very avoided, hell Ward avoided him by retiring when he was mandatory. So hypothetically if he wiped Ward out would he be #1 p4p in your eyes?

If he beat Ward I dont know that I'd put him #1 P4P, but that would certainly be a career defining win.
But you kind of made my point by saying he's still in the early days, and has a ways to go.....
The guy is 34 and has a bruising style, just how long do you think he'll be around, and do you think he'll have the time needed to rebuild if he does suffer a tough defeat?

If he faces Kovalev and Bivol and beats them he's already one of the best light heavyweights ever. Bonuses would include Zurdo Ramirez or Canelo if they can happen. Plus he has a relatively short career so far and has achieved plenty, he could recover from a loss easily enough like Gvozdyk should.

Idk man Berterbiev is 35 already unless he fights them b2b2b its probably not gonna happen maybe he gets Kovalev when he presumably beats Alvarez. But honestly he bar is set so low for this generation that 3 Elite quality wins is enough to be am ATG.. I mean I don't really think a guy like Ward has enough fights the be called an ATG so for me it's about quality and quantity.

It's better then Wilder or Fury style fighting D minus bums for 50 fights and then getting beat up by the bums.

Lomachenko had 15 fights, 10 of his opponents were former or current champions.
Wilder had 42 fights, only 2 of his opponents were former or current champions. The rest were actually journeymen excluding Ortiz.
Yet the latter is the superior career path according to a warped individual like yourself.
All of your tribalist agenda pushing threads backfire. Don't you get bored of getting proven wrong all the time?

Wilder having a weak resume is a bit overblown IMO..
Wilder has beaten a few guys that might not get a lot of love today, but were considered threats when Wilder faced them.

Sergey Laohovich, Chris Areola, Malik Scott, Audley Harrison, Eric Molina Dominic Breazelle and Tyson Fury are all on his resume

And yet, no one is talking about Loma or his next fight, are they?
Conversely, Wilder has 3 or 4 potential super fights on the horizon, all of which are highly winnable for him.

Not too bad for a guy who only fights journeyman

Yeah but how many former champs are there at HW? Wlad dominated that division for so long there wasn't that many options. Loma got to fight some really shitty ex-champions and mediocre fighters.

Lomachenko has the best resume in boxing currently apart from Canelo. Keep coping you miserable hater.

my thought is that it is the start of one, not a mid career one.

though i am not big on bivol myself.

Who has he fought? Crawford and Loma's resume is practically identical. Neither has a stand out win. Just a bunch of B level opponents.

Crawford has never fought anyone on the level of Gary Russel Jr. His best win is Viktor Postol.
