It looks like usyk might be ducked at heavyweight

Hearn recently came out in an interview and said that the WBO. and IBF. belt mandatories are due.
Hearn said he wouid advise Joshua to defend against pulev rather than usyk and vacate that belt. Already hearn is saying that he will advise Joshua to duck usyk
    https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.bo...ner-will-vacate-a-title-says-eddie-hearn/amp/

Ruiz is with the PBC who dosent recognize the WBO belt. So I think that Ruiz wouid vacate the wbo belt than to defend against usyk since PBC dosent recognize it

Wilder recently dismissed usyk as too small and insist usyk is no threat

    https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.sp...r-usyk-as-too-small/5rimpgk831ts1j6bqqyqwdyqy

There are reports that Jarrell Miller's camp rejected facing usyk
    http://fightnights.com/2019/01/05/4...eportedly-reject-offer-to-face-oleksandr-usyk

As well as parker rejecting usyk bout

    https://www.msn.com/en-nz/sport/boxing/parker-camp-denies-oleksandr-usyk-bout/ar-BBRT1ID

Fury is ranked #2 by the WBO and Usyk #1 if the wbo belt wouid be vacated then its possible that the wbo wouid Order usyk vs fury for that belt .unless fury ducked which wouldn't surprise me.

Usyk is causing quite a ruckus in the heavyweight division this started even before he moved up.

I'm liking it especially uzyks energy to fight the best .

I do not know if usyk can beat the other heavyweights . Im not saying he can I'm not saying he cant .All i know is that the other top heavyweights arent eager to get In the ring with usyk .

    I'll tell you one thing

Whether they vacate the belt or decide stall out .
Even with them saying usyk isnt as good or bad.

One of these top heavyweights will have to deal with usyk sooner or later and test him to see what he brings to the table .

Someone will have to inherit the responsibility of fighting usyk sooner or later

Note: please do not get butthurt over this posts

This is not a post criticizing.usyk or other fighters

Do not get emotional over a difference of opinion

I don't think they're scared of him so much as scared of looking bad. Usyk is an awkward SOB and even if they beat him it will likely be on points and they won't look good.

It's all about risk reward. Right now, fighting Usyk carries some risk for not enough reward.

    He will be avoided until:

    A) he is found to be vulnerable
    B) he is enough of a draw at HW that it makes the risk of fighting him acceptable

This. It also doesn’t help that outside of hardcore boxing fans Usyk isn’t really well known, so most Top guys don’t see Usyk as worth the risk. The Bellew fight was good for exposing him to British fans, but that was almost a year ago.

Usyk is most likely going to need to pay some good money to Kownacki or Povetkin to get them in the ring to get himself a little name recognition from the casual fans at heavyweight, since besides hardcore fans there isn’t a real demand to see him fight Wilder, Ruiz, Fury, Joshua etc... beating either Povetkin or Kownacki or even both would give him some leverage at heavyweight, but Usyk’s team is most likely going to need to cough up some money to make it happen.

GGG needed to bite the bullet and pay Jacobs good money to give himself leverage in making the Canelo fight happen. Hopefully Usyk’s team doesn’t waste time, since a guy like Usyk needs to stay active against good competition or his skills and conditioning will start slipping.

Why is it difficult for most to understand vacating the IBF would cause a problem getting it back as opposed to the WBO. Hearn wants the bigger fight which is Usyk but he can get that fight at any time...he CANNOT do that if AJ does not get the IBF belt first ,holding on to the belts is what the goal is not ducking, just stop. lol

Usyk hasn't proven he can fight at heavyweight yet, so any talk about champions ducking him is premature/rumors.

At this point Wilder and Joshua knock him out, Ruiz batters him and Fury wins a UD.

I admire both Joshua, and Usyk’s work ethic and choice of opponents, they both deserve to do well. I wish them both the best.

Problem for Joshua is that he's just taken a loss and has to try and win the rematch so that should be obvious.
I'd like to see Usyk get back in the ring asap against someone like Chisora who we could gauge more from.

Why are all those "world class" heavyweights staying in WBSS and fighting for mere scraps? The truth is all those guys would get wrecked in the pro ranks and they know it.
