If anyone here actually believes that we are going to see someone like Ruiz or Kownacki down to 215-220 lbs on fight night then the laugh is on you. These guys would be weakened at this weight and lose punch resistance and power, in shape Kownacki and Ruiz are LHW or Cruiser not HW.

You ever done a Keto? lot of time you lose lean muscle as well, some of that is just apperance though cause you retain less water but generally it’s not the best for also retaining muscle mass.

you have to remember and this where some people go wrong, you can’t just load up on proteins on a keto it’s very very high fats most of your macros are taken up by fats a combination of ultra low carbs (witch gives people the drained look) and lowered protein witch effects muscle growth retention and recovery is not the best combo for retaining muscle.

but keto is great for lowering your weight quick and also unlike say an Atkins diet you actually still feel energised it doesn’t take your body long to become a fat burning machine on it.

but I generally prefer a more orthodox cut its more sustainable and unlike on a keto you don’t pack on the pounds as quick once you come off it and it’s easier to manage your weight loss more effectively while retaining muscle.

Ruiz being heavy against Joshua was the reason he won. He gives up his strength and bulk, and he's not standing up to Joshua 's power. The rematch becomes less appealing to me if Joshua beats a super light version of Ruiz. It wasn't the speed but the extra weight that ****ed the bodybuilder up.

I think he might be doing a modified version. Off memory, a lot of his meals will be something like a big slab of salmon with a vegetable. But I think he might have a little bit of carbs at breakfast.

Yeah more of an orthodox cut then he’s probably slowly bringing down his carbs as he goes along, so carb heavy breakfast carb and protein post workout then very little carbs for rest of day apart from veg and maybe a little rice.

like Keto can work look at fury losing all that weight and he was on Keto but look how skinny he looked lost so much mass not just fat but muscle as well.

i think a heavy protein light carbs and fat so like a 45% protein 30% carbs 25% fat would be a good split for Andy.

Intermittent fasting and keto is the best diet for any athlete. When your body burns fat for fuel you will have twice the energy or stamina then with carbs or sugars. Workouts fasted 18-22 hours for optimal gh levels and recovery.
Your body will adapt after 2 1/2 months

He should aim to be about 15 pounds lighter, but I wouldn't go past that. I also call bull**** on this "source."

44 lbs.. No chance. Would be a wrong move.. If I was him 12lbs at the most.44 would leave him weak.

Its post date is 10/19. And Ruiz is talking about 10 pounds, not 44.
