Who would win this fight at 175 ?

Ward and Hopkins were fighting in the division at the same time at one point
Had they fought who would of won ?

Ward UD. All day, every day. By the way, this match would be practically unwatchable.

This is basically too close to call.

    2 legitimate, proven ATG's.

I am leaning towards Bernard Hopkins, but I respect Andre Ward too much to put a stamp on it.

You see, ward has even said he emulated BHop style along with Mayweather's, and I think that would give him a slight edge....

Usually with great fighters, the ones who grew up watching other fighters and trying to emulate their styles usually ad some tweaks and make some type of improvement..

I actually see Ward using the same rough house tactics that Hopkins was known for for and using them against him.

Both guys were roughly the same size, but i feel like Ward may have been a bit more physically stronger.

Of course I won't write Hopkins off by any stretch, he could absolutely get under Wards skin and get him off his gameplan......but he couldn't against Joe Calzaghe, and i dont think he would against Ward either.

I think theyre only common opponent was Chad Dawson, and they had two drastically different results against him.

I'll pick Ward by SD in a foul fest

During the time frame that Ward was fighting at light heavy, Hopkins was a bit long in tooth. Ward fought Paul Smith in 2015, then Barrera in 2016 if I recall. Hopkins lost to Kovalev in 2014. Then took two years off and was KO'd by Joe Smith in 2016. Ward would outpoint the Hopkins from that time frame.

This is a close call. Both tough guys but I’m going with BHop. He had better power and I think he would find a way to beat Ward. I don’t think Hopkins would allow Ward to get away with the dirty stuff he pulled on Kov. I don’t think either guy would knock the other out, I think Bernard would find a way to squeak out a close decision in an ugly/dirty fight.

Tough call.. in the battle of headbutter.. whose noggin’ will crack first.
I pick BHop.. better aim and with a little more speed.

Hopkins was an old timer at 175. Ward would beat him comfortably like Chad Dawson did. Dawson didn't do anything that Ward couldn't.

The only worse match up I can think of is if we could of somehow cloned prime Sergio Mora and had him fight himself.

A few antonyms for the word action could best describe this fight; inaction, idleness, and dullness.
