Crawford would be a bad style match up if they were the same weight. If Linares, Pedraza, and Campbell are giving Loma problems, Crawford would make him have a bad day.
You'd have to be a really big Loma fan to pick him here. Absolutely no path to victory. Crawford is way too good
Crawford would ruin him. Loma would get that ass beat from pillar to post, it would be ugly. Oompa loompa Loma should stay in the smaller divisions and fight the top guys there and small foes coming up in weight. Dont be surprised when Inoue whoops his ass years from now.
Yeah. That’s false. 177 is the highest I heard but that’s probably with clothes. He’s only 5’8”. At 190 he’d be pudgy.
Do you expect Loma to be that stupid to follow Mikey Garcia's footstep jumping up two weight class against P4P elite ? LOL. Why not start another thread, Crawford vs Canelo ?
Can Mikey get back down to 135 though? Does he have the desire and inclination to do so, against a Top Rank fighter no less? However, I agree: it's a fascinating fight if it can be made.
That's how ridiculous this thread -- and the person who started it -- is. He would never do a Crawford vs Canelo thread, because he knows deep down how it would end, and that wouldn't suit the agenda he is trying to peddle here.
Untrue. He fought world champions at 135 and 140 who were clearly in the "top 5 fighters in their weight." He would do it at 147 also if any of them had the guts to make the fight. If PBC thought they had someone who could beat him now they would make the fight with him. They don't and they won't. Brraaapppp
Crawford is at 147 and Loma is at 135 so which weight class will they both fight at? You mean 140? If so, Crawford will be at disadvantage since he will have to dehydrate. This fight will never happen, I'm afraid.
No. If they fight in 140, it is Loma who has the disadvantage simply because Crawford is bigger. Lightweight is Crawford first weight class in his pro career and he was already a big man in the division then. While Loma started as featherweight and he is now currently at his third and probably his ceiling. If they fight in 140, Loma is punching a brick wall.
Dominant in a very weak 135 perhaps the weakest division in boxing at the time and by the time he moved to 140 all the top guys had all ready left to 147. Now he’s at 147 he’s fighting Top Rank in house fighters. His resume is abysmal for a 3 weight world champion. Don’t take it personally fanboy.
Certainly, Crawford is bigger than Loma both at 140 and 147. But don't forget that now Crawford is at 147. If the fight is made at the catchweight 140 then Crawford will have to go down from 147 to 140 again. So, do you think that the dehydration will have no impact on his performances and his body at all?
