^^^^^ The Most Respected Meat Blanket in all of D-Block! Don’t thrash CST too hard cum bubble :) We all know you’re an intellectual titan on here. You don’t have to prove it yet again and DESTROY another good poster!

Nobody, NOBODY can handle what you dish out. So spare him.

Dude, he bent the knee and that's a KD. I couldn't hear it clearly but I think he told Atlas he was done at the end of round 8, which is when Atlas spewed forth his "you're a champ" tirade.

When a boxer of that level takes the knee you know he's done. Probably could have avoided round 9 but the insatiable blood thirst of the public would have called it "quitting".

I wonder if Kovalev was injured at the last minute if Camel Toe would take on AB? He'd **** his pants before saying something stupid and then ducking the fight.

i seem to rub little twats, who abuse internet anonymity by saying things they would never have the stones to say in real life, the wrong way. its a gift. little twats like you, who arent even the toughest in their own house, but pretend their opinion is of any consequence to men.
go play with the other betas.

I'd call cheating and corruption the strategy, while avoiding vada, paying off refs and judges, low blows and headbutts are the tactics.

    1. Kadyrov is as much Putin's puppet as Trump. All these scumbags are in bed together. Look at your own leader - let he who is without sin cast the first stone.
    2. Beterbiev would be an idiot to speak badly about Kadyrov, so you don't know what he really thinks. Even if there was a democracy in Chechnya are you sure who AB even votes for?
    3. WTF does this have to do with boxing?

I'm still trawling through this thread and you are clearly upset about Gvozdyk. Everyone's favourite boxer takes the L eventually unless they are ducking the good fighters and/or cheating. You just need to accept the fact that any boxer worth supporting will lose.

Public knowledge you ******. Obviously Bush knew the WMDs didn't exist and now look at the result in Iraq - the power vacuum creates ISIS. By actual logic Bush has killed and terrorised many more people than Ramzan. Stop believing CNN. They're lying to you every day.

Someone already said this, but Beterbiev looks and feels like the boxing version of Khabib Nurmagomedov. He looks like he was a kid fighting beers while Gvozdyk was playing with Star Wars toys. Just an unstoppable force of nature.

I'm interested in Kovalev v Canelo. Obviously Golden Girl has waited for Kovalev to fade, and Canelo will certainly get the decision should he be standing at the end of 12 rounds, but how much muscle can Canelo put on if he still wants to defend his belts at 160. RJJ did that at HW and he was never the same.

This was the other option - here's to hoping Kovalev changes his mind during the fight and lays out Canelo cold.

Nope, that isn't the crux of why CST was raging at Beterbiev's cozying up to Kadyrov, not even remotely.

His longtime (rightful, IMO) aversion to Chechen/Dagestani scum long predates this fight, or probably even Gvzodyk's pro career.

That region's entire cultural fabric is woven into a hierarchy of warlords all opposed to secular Russian policies (however much Putin and Kadyrov may play nice publicly for political reasons) as well as Western or non-Sunni muslim influence of all sorts. They arm their children and indoctrinate them into these warlord's personality cults and the broader message of jihad, and conduct regular sorties from their mountains, labeling themselves freedom fighters to justify what are plain and simple acts of terrorism.

All of which is public record.

Oh and sometimes they radicalize their relatives going to school in cities like mine and goad them into blowing up marathons, targeting civilians including young children.

Quit : to stop doing something or leave a job or a place.

There are extremely negative connotations to quitting in boxing. However, boxers who receive serious injuries or death often do so because they never gave up. Maybe they or their corner should have quit for them?

No-one is calling Gvozdyk a quitter. The dude was punished for 2 rounds at the end. Most boxers would not have survived that long.

The question here is whether he "mentally quit". Without going into the details, I don't think that is the precise wording, but I do feel that he knew his chances were extremely slim when he came out for round 9. But I don't think the original poster was being derogatory - he was saying he was mentally finished in the fight, but he kept trying.

To me "quitting" is to stop trying when you still have a chance of winning. In boxing where the risks of continuing to fight are high and keep getting higher, there needs to be a mechanism where boxers are stopped from hurting themselves and where they are not called quitters.

As it says in the art of war: "He will win who knows when to fight and when not to fight."

Yarde needs to stay clear of Beterbiev, his chin is too solid for his own good and he would take way too much punishment.

Yep, he would probably keep getting up and plunked down again, with the CTE just accumulating more with each KD.
