I’m surprised eople aren’t mentioning Eggington that seems like the obvious fight to make for me. Eggington has just come off a good European level win which is where Fitzgerald needs to be tested now, stylistically it’s a great match up too

 

I thought the same. Would be a great scrap. I’d back Fitzgerald again, stylistically perfect opponent for him.

 

Yeh I don't read too much into social media tbh. It's hard to interpret sometimes isn't it. I just meant all I hear is people day he's arrogant and up his own arse but I've only ever heard good things from people who've actually met him. Bit like Paul Smith really.

 

Emotions can run high at a final press conference I suppose. And Fitz had already abused his (completely innocent) girlfriend, which was a cheap move imo.

I don't think either are the worlds worst.

 

It's possible it's all an act. It's working though, there's plenty of people who show an interest in his fights because they want to see him beaten (myself included!).

Rather have some fighters I dislike as a personality than a sport filled with boring Dubois/Joshua types though, good fighters though they are.
