Gvozdyk beats Kovalev now. But prime Kovalev beats Gvozdyk. Not sure he can knock him out, but Kovalev has such good boxing skills and with that power he'd be too much. It would have been a great fight like this one.

What I find curious about the discussion here is, in general, people seem to think Canelo is going to beat Kovalev, saying he is shot, can't take body punches, etc. Some people are also saying they think Kovalev has a legitimate shot at beating Beterbiev. Lastly, people are scoffing at Canelo fighting Beterbiev, saying that Beterbiev is too strong, too big, etc. You can't hold all 3 of these views simultaneously. Here's the reality. Canelo is fighting Kovalev because Kovalev is done. Let's be frank, GBP would not put their fighter in the cage with a young lion. Has GBP miscalculated? It's possible but probably not. Canelo will not fight Beterbiev if he wins the Kovalev fight. They will come up with some reason as to why he must turn his attention elsewhere. And, yes, Beterbiev will knock the stuffing out of both Canelo and Kovalev.
