Ruiz exposed some flaws in Joshua that we already knew were there but had so far not cost Joshua a loss. Still has a lot to do to convince me he is going to be the man in the division and see off Fury and Wilder.

The sad thing is, if AJ beats Ruiz in the rematch, he will immediately be declared invincible and 50 threads of "AJ vs Ali, Holmes, Lewis, Louis, Foreman, Klitschkos etc etc" will be spammed in General. A national holiday will be declared where hordes of fanboys will polish Joshua's wanger until it gleams like chrome. Of course, if Ruiz wins the opposite will occur and living the "snickers lifestyle" will become a thing.

I prefer Ruiz too, so long as he stays fat. The comedy angle of a chubster beating up the scariest men in the world never grows thin for my juvenile sense of humour. Ah, Butterbean, where art thou?

Also my opinion. It was just that Joshua's punch resistance and recovery was shockingly poor that night, not that Ruiz put in a performance above what he usually does.

Sure the style wasn't that great for AJ and he probably shouldn't have rushed in for the kill that recklessly, but truly a unified 6'6" ripped champ in his prime claiming to be the best in the world should not be on ***** street for 3 rounds with no legs or ability to keep a short fat guy with no footspeed on the outside from a single left hook to the temple by a guy who isn't considered one of the biggest hitters in the division.

Yeah it happened to Lewis but that didn't suddenly turn Rahman or McCall into the best HW in the division.

Either Joshua turns it around in the rematch or Ruiz just exposed his ability to take and recover from a punch as a serious flaw.

    Fury
    Usyk
    Wilder
    Hunter
    Hgovic

Off the top of my head, I think Ruiz beats AJ again.

Malik Scott went 12 by running for his life. He wasn't there to fight. Never seen the hammer fight but I tend to believe if you stand in front of Ortiz to trade it's not going to be an easy nights work. Age will be a huge factor of course

Still think the bodybuilder wins a safety first decision in the rematch. I said in another thread, that the heavier version of Ruiz is his most dangerous. Can see Joshua winning against a lighter Ruiz, and then getting exposed again by another fighter shortly after. I wouldn't put either fighter ahead of Deontay and Fury.

Its funny cause all those who all called AJ a slow chinny robot with no stamina now think Ruiz is the next Ali because he beat a slow chinny robot with no power..

Ruiz will be found out the next time he fights some one with some stamina and can take a punch better than AJ, he is borderline top 10..

If he gets over AJ in the rematch he will be feed to Wilder for another Breazeal type ko....
