The best two of the division going head to head, I'm really looking forward to this and have been for a while! I rate and really like them both, I'm rooting for Taylor though and I think he'll have enough to edge it.

The other thing that impresses me about Regis is that he always looks comfortable in there. Even though the opponent always seems to have height and reach advantage he is always well within his comfort zone. He makes it look easy, never struggling. This is a characteristic of a quality boxer.

He's never been put under any real pressure to his credit so it will be interesting to see how he reacts when josh is swarming all over him.

Who do we think has faced the better competition? I think Taylor, marginally, with Postol being the best win either has had. Programs has done well though, and Indongo was a solid win.

Taylor reminds me a little bit of Groves.

He can box superbly, however he can't seem to stick to a gameplan or stay switched on for the full duration of a fight, without being dragged into a brawl when he doesnt need to be.

Prograis seems like he can stick to boxing for the duration if need be, I think it will come down to that element if prograis can tough out the rough moments of the fight.

As soon as Taylor knows he can overpower an opponent he will and then from that point on is very hard to stop him doing what he wants, so for me it banks on the above.

Just to add Taylor was hurt against Barancyk also not just Postol.

For me this is the key factor. I think he will be able to handle it, I think he hits hard enough to make think Taylor think twice also.

Remember regis hasn't been in with anyone who hits as hard as taylor so both are going to have to be wary of power.Taylor has been buzzed but imo he's never really been in danger of being dropped or stopped.Taylor isn't/cant going to box prograis and inevitably a firefight will breakout where I've no clue What's going to happen. It's cliche but expect fireworks!

Just when you think that cretin Taylor couldn't get more dislikeable!

What a total tosser he is.

I guess everyone will be rooting for Regis now.

Prograis just looks on another level compared to Josh.

I could see him winning a comfortable decision or getting the stoppage, depending on Josh Taylor's gameplan.

Prograis is a real natural talent who always looks assured and at home in the ring.

Come on, Josh. It was all jokes and games, it was nothing serious," Prograis replied.

“I’m bigger than him. I’m taller and with a longer reach. He’s shorter and stockier than me. He might be a bit physically stronger than me. But I can handle that. I’ve got speed and boxing ability over him. I’ve got the reach. I’ve got good timing and footwork. I’ve fought better opponents. I just feel I’ve got the beating of him.”
