Ward would have low blowed and hugged/held him to death as the ref did his best Ray Charles impersonation.
a prime Degale before all of the wars would do well. Better than a lot here think. Ward by close but clear UD though. Degale wins 3-5 rounds and would be game throughout.
Ward UD but i could see Degale winning a couple of rounds. Degale goes down as a waste of talent for me, he had skills but he appeared to be a lazy trainer for most of his career and in the ring he seemed to have concentration issues and would spend several rounds apparently daydreaming. Ward is like the polar opposite he was always on his game.
DeGale was a very poor mans Calzaghe, a fairly sissyfied version of the Welshman. Ward would have won easy.
DeGale was garbage, and only you Brits cant see that. I never liked Ward, but he's not dropping a single round to that bum. They could fight 30 rounds, and it would be 30-0 Ward.
DeGae's pro career is what Calzaghe would have turned out as if he had stayed in Hammersmith. Ward but not straightforward as you think.
Agreed. Prime Degale is competitive all the way, I have it very close but to Ward by a round or two. I can even see a draw on neutral ground. For a short time I had Degale the best at 168
Typical, keyboard warrior here hasn't a clue about boxing. Calling an Olympic Gold medallist a bum. No respect. Not only that but he won a world title in the pro game and retired a millionaire but some c**t called Xplosive on a boxing forum gets to call Degale a bum
