Oh, I agree. I'm pretty sure Gvodzyk saw those holes, too.

yes, and his abilities have also been blown out of proportion, but he was still landing some hellacious shots on the beve. if canelo connected the same shots gvodzyk landed, on any 160 fighter, that fighter is taking a nap. which goes back to my original stance, that it all depends on how much bang canelo will carry at 175.
canelo is a much sharper puncher than gvodzyk, has better defense, better balance, better legs. he can handle the hardest punches at 160, so he should show some resilience at 175, how much, like his power, remains to be seen.

That's insane considering Canelo hasn't knocked out a wank at 160.

I dont even understand some of those KDs. AB seemed to do little to nothing, and OG went flying

It's his innocuous cuffing shots that seem to hurt more than the shots he loads up on. When he's in close, a punch from a few inches can send an opponent flying. I rewatched the Prieto fight, and almost everytime he staggered the iron chinned Prieto, it was with these small looking shots. He did the same to Cloud. It's insane the damage he causes with so little distance

The finish to the Prieto fight makes me laugh. They're in a clinch. Artur suddenly turns and looks right at Prieto for a second or so. You get a great camera angle of it, but Prieto hasnt a clue whats about to come his way

I'm not sure why people are still saying Beterbiev is all brute force. He was trying to counter Gvozdyk all night. He's much more crafty than it appears. A bit stiff but seems to be a trait shared by strong thudding punchers. Beterbiev is an example of an aggressive counter puncher, not a brawler. Mike Tyson was another example in this earlier years, that people thought was a brawler.

Beterbiev isn't slow either. He looks like it because he's stiff, but his punches get very good acceleration and snappiness. At 5'11.5 he's about the same height as Jacobs, and we saw how Jacobs bullied Canelo on the ropes at times.

So how come Canelo didn't land the same shots Gvozdyk landed if he is "a much sharper puncher than gvodzyk"? You contradict yourself within 2 posts you dumb ****.

Not to mention Alvarez did land some harder punches on Golovkin, even in the first fight. Not only Golovkin didn't take a nap, he didn't even stop coming forward.

are you seriously this dumb? ok, in the event youre not trolling and you actually are this dumb, i will answer. canelo did not land the same shots on golovkin, because gvozdyk is not golovkin. and im not in the mood to break it down to idiot level for someone getting so butthurt over a small critique of a fighter. go toughen up some before exposing your delicate feelings to such horrible verbal abuse of your latest crush, nancy.

You claimed that Alvarez is a much sharper puncher than Gvozdyk you room temperature IQ possessing mong. That means Alvarez should have been able to land cleaner punches on his opponent than the Ukrainian did. Which he actually did, like this one, except GGG didn't take a nap, neither did he stop coming forward:

Go show us when Gvozdyk landed a comparably clean shot on Beterbiev with full force behind it, you Canelo nuthugger. Insisting that Alvarez is a puncher at 160 when he never stopped anyone of note at that weight is comedy gold.

Stylistically Beterbiev is a better fight for Canelo than Kovalev. No long jab and straight right to get past. I think both beat him, but give him a better chance against Artur.
