The guy clearly isn't well and is crying for help. I hope he has some good people around him.

 

Obviously Cleverly had a susceptibility for mental health problems before this point but I feel that Kovalev snapped something inside of him mentally.

Ever since that point the wheelsstarted coming off (ballooning up in weight, talk of retirement, ill-judged move to cruiser, fighting like a maniac).

Its sad to see he's clearly suffering from mental health problems. His career is most likely over i just hope he gets himself together with support from those around him. Im sure he could earn a few bob doing commentary for S4C or something like that.

 

Most likely over? It was over ages ago, he’s retired.

I do empathise with fighters post retirement. Must be tough going from a fighter to a has been over night. Can understand why they go off the rails, particularly with those that fighting is the thing that keeps them on the straight and narrow.

Sure, he’s heavier than he was when he was fighting but he’s still in decent shape, so looks after himself in that respect.

Maybe he’s fine and just gets a bit of a kick out of a thread being made about him every time he posts something dumb on social media ha.

Must annoy him how rich Bellew ended up being though ha.

 

I said most likely because he is not exactly old but of course it is unlikely he will fight again. Yeah I never would have thought Bellew would end up making the sort of money he did.

This is after the first fight the Bellew "rivalry" seemed completely one sided, Bellew looked eager for revenge but Cleverly didn't seem to give a **** and fought like a sparring partner, since then the signs have been worrying

 

Met him in Cardiff one afternoon . I thought he was a hell of nice bloke . I asked a couple of questions then he asked a lot of question about me , what I was doing there ,what I did ect . I was a bit taken aback as he had a lot of time for the people that were there and it was not at all about him

 

That’s not his Mrs who has been with for years !! Wonder if he has split up with her because of his strange behaviour!

 

Very strange man but then again he is Welsh
