Back down to middleweight, probably the right move for him although he will get questioned why he’s moved now whilst Saunders has moved up.

adds to a very good month of boxing. Looking forward to December.

He should make weight relatively comfortably considering he was barely reaching 168 at SMW.

So, we're back to having 3 WBA beltholders at middleweight after that bout.

I remember seeing him at the BJS weigh in and he looked thin and drained and it's more than 3 years since he last fought at M. Not sure about that.

I am not sure if this is a great idea for Eubank Jr.

I think this is one he loses and is a bad choice of opponent. He likely has the toughness to stay upright for 12 rounds. But I think he is beaten clearly in this one. Although I am sure as with his losses to BJS and Groves, he will be claiming a robbery over this one.

didn’t actually realise that. By fight night it will be 3.5 years since he last fought at middle.

Korobov is still an easyish win I'd have thought and it'll be 10 months since Chris was in the ring. I hope the plan is to get that done and move up. I do like Junior quite a bit. He's a bit raw, but he is watchable and could do well over there.

What are his options though? He was commonly held to be outgunned at super middleweight?

Interesting fight and difficult to call. Korobov showed against Charlo that he still has plenty left, and you can see his southpaw stance and that sneaky left causing Eubank problems. Eubank has struggled against lefties before; Korobov isn't a mover like Saunders, but even a shot DeGale made life awkward at times without actually doing much of anything.

Eubank is obviously the younger, fitter guy, and 160 is a much better fit for him than 168. It's not like he bulked up much to fight at the higher weight, and should be able to cut to middle without any issues.

Korobov does tend to tire down the stretch and is prone to fighting in bursts, and Eubank even in his losses has come on strong in the championship rounds.

I think Korobov gets off to an early lead, and it depends on how quickly Eubank can start getting to him. Junior will probably do enough to wear him down later on, and may even force a late stoppage.

I'm confident he takes Billy at Super. I believe that loss rankles with him and it's a bet I'm looking forward to. Going forward in Super, not sure.
