I actually think he should stay in the US, UK market is dead.

US is where the money is at, and they all need to build their brands there if the want the big $$$$

Fight on Fox or DAZN or ESPN

Smith and Saunders need the US too tbf

The Eubank Jr interest has pretty much finished here in the UK, Groves made sure of that.

I personally couldn't care less, people I speak to about boxing care less than I do about Jr and the Eubanks know the general public have lost interest so they have gone off to the US.

Jr is 30 years old, he isn't a baby any longer, this is about as good as it gets now, 36 year old Korobov in the US were he can try and fool the US casual in to believing he is something he isn't.

Exactly mate. The opportunity was there to fight for a world title and he’s walked away from it. It doesn’t matter what good things people say about him on here, that he’d beat Saunders etc. he just doesn’t seem interested in fulfilling them good things. If you never try you never fail I guess.

Why don't any matchroom guys get high profile fights like Korobov?

Who is Saunders and Smith fighting?

    Saunders fighting an unknown bum
Smith had to beg WBA to make a domestic level bloke his mandatory lol

Why don't they get a named fighter or fight each other. Matchroom obviously doesn't have the $$$ or maybe neither can draw flies to ****.

Billy beat an absolute scrubber for his belt which makes it worthless. He needs to beat someone decent to legitimise himself

I'd rather beat Degale for the IBO than Isuferson for WBO that's for damn sure.

I think he knows in his heart Saunders and Smith are just too good and his ego cant take another such defeat of a domestic rival. A fit Saunders with Ingle in corner wouldnt lose a round to him and Smith would box his head of until Eubank got desperate then he would lunch in and get knocked out.

He'll find his pen just in time for Golovkins 40th.

Not a bad fight, this, but a couple of years too late. Jnr is starting to make a career out of doing this, as mentioned frequently in this thread.

CEJ is another fighter who's only concern is about the coin.

Virtually all of his 'bigger' fights have been PPV .

He will fight a top fighter but only when hes rinsed as much money as he can, taking safe fights.

He isn't interested really in any form of legacy.

More fighters seem to be doing this and their is an expectation for fans to dip hands in their pockets on an ever increasing basis to fund 'PPV' fights, which we all know shouldn't be.

You can thank fighters like CEJ for that.

an easyish win? it's not remotely easy tbh, Korobov should've just got the decision against Charlo, at late notice as well. This is a very hard fight for Eubank

wouldn't say he's "way past his best" judging by his last performance if i'm honest. This is a very good opponent who shouldd be world champion rn

Korobov was outworked in punches thrown and landed and was staggered twice in the 12th. He also landed just 9 jabs. Chris isn't the jabbiest but he is improving there and though he threw more he had a lesser hit percentage than Degale, but he did throw them. Korobov 5/146 jabs against Batista so that is where Junior should be working. So, we know he can probably out jab him, will have at least as good an engine, will most likely not be knocked down or worried about Korobo's power and will have his share of power punches. Hard to see how Korobov wins, unless coming back to middle takes it out of Junior.

He did well against Charlo but not enough to win imo. I thought he looked his age in the last round and was lucky to not get starched.

A few years ago I really rated him but I do think he’s there for the taking now. Junior’s athleticism and work rate will be too much for them old legs of his now. He holds a wide stance and doesn’t move back so quick. I think they’ve picked him specifically because Junior has the style to plough him.

I don't listen to what some random guy pressing a button sees, as it's been proven time and time again to be wrong, i go with my own eye and opinion.

Korobvs style is Jrs kryptonite. How is he going to deal with the angles, footwork and skill Korobov is going to bring, when Jrs IQ is so low and has poor footwork himself? And Jrs jab is ineffective as well, it is a poor weapon for him. The weight cut will likely take a lot out of Eubank as well. Korobov should take this barring another robbery
