You got the Unified Belt Holder in Andy Ruiz...

The universally recognized People's Champion, Deontay Wilder...

And the supposed #1 HW in the world, the Lineal Champion Tyson Fury

Plus you got AJ lurking in the shadows seeking vengeance and redemption....

And a whole slew of angry contenders like Dilyan White, Jarrell Miller and Joseph Parker, all waiting for their next opportunity....

How should Usyk navigate this heavyweight mine field for the best chance of success and most legitimate path to fulfilling his legacy?

I think Chisora next fight is a logical step of Del Boys beats Price which I fully expect.

Povetkin after, then a title shot

He is the WBO mandatory and his next fight will definitely be for the title. The WBO belt will be vacated after AJ/Ruiz in December and he’ll fight the winner of Chisora/Price around late February in the UK

I could live with that, who should he fight of the above mentioned champions?

To be honest, I wouldnt favour him against any based on his last fight but perhaps I am being a bit harsh as he needs to acclimatise to the division as I'm not sure how well he carries a shot.

Logical route would be AJ should he beat Ruiz.

In reality it will probably be for a vacant belt winner of AJ Ruiz vacates

Usyk’s team and Hearn have confirmed 100% his next fight will be for the WBO. They will enforce his mandatory immediately after Ruiz/AJ

Ruiz wins again, Usyk fights Parker for the vacant WBO belt.

Keep at it and maybe someone will bite.

He should take the title shot afforded to him as undisputed CW champion by the WBO, the one you started your last thread about.

I actually feel Ruiz might be most dangerous opponent for Usyk

I would go for Parker next, then Povetkin if he beats Hunter, then a title shot imo, hell even a Pulev.

I don’t see any point in fighting Chisora as he brings nothing to the table in regards to Wilder/Joshua or Ruiz, Usyk should be aiming higher.

It looks as though Hearn is hoping for an AJ win and getting Usyk a title shot and then maybe having them meet at some point next year, but it does look like Hearn wants him fighting for a title next.

Would be a very interesting fight. Parker always has a question mark for me. Lost a fight against Whyte that was there for the taking.

A fight versus Parker would be a fantastic barometer for Usyk.

Well the ''supposed'' #1 HW in the world did beat Bum Squad over on his turf when he was only 40% and the later was 100% but yet again they robbed the foreigner over in the US.

If Bum Squad was even 10% as good as his grotesque groupies claim he is he would've sparked out that inactive muscle atrophied suicidal drug-ravaged shell of Fury in 2 rounds tops and if he was 10% as brave as he claims to be he would've agreed to rematch Fury over on his turf instead of expecting him to head right back on over to his turf so they could rob him again.

2013 quote from Bum Squad on fighting Fury

''I would fight him anywhere," said Wilder. "I'm a traveller, a global fighter, I fight anywhere all over the world that's how you become legendary. You become legendary by not being afraid to go into enemy territory when the time comes or when duty calls.''

And let's not forget that Fury did also beat Wlad in Germany, that's the same Wlad who sparked out Bum Squad x 2 in the gym and who dominated the HW division for and hadn't lost in a decade and who Bum Squad wanted no part of.

Too bad Fury ran to ESPN and WWF to avoid the rematch though
