    I thought Spence wanted a fight with Thurman, why chose a smaller Gacria ?
    What has Garcia done to deserve this fight ? Or is it just me not getting this ?

    2 losses in 2 years isn't bad, but I wouldn't call this cleaning out his division or fighting the best. Thurman & Porter proved this.

    Danny is a dangerous fighter and on any given night is capable of beating any one at 147 with maybe the exception of Crawford.

    No problems at all with this fight but stylistically Garcia is made for him I think.

    Probably the lingering perception of García being a natural light welter because that is the division he fought in during the four years comprising most of his rise to fame and peak (2011-2014), even though it has been five years since he moved back up to welter - and fought there in all but one pro bout of his first twenty before Nate Campbell.

    Oh and he's 1½″ shorter, but probably more to do with that ^. And the fact that Spence has a frame that many feel would be suited to 154.

    Recent times he almost got stopped by a borderline journeyman in Josesito Lopez and got dropped by an over the hill Pacquiao.
    Danny’s loss to Porter was very close I thought it was a draw and he just completely destroyed Adrian Granados.

    meh. i am ready for garcia to get erased from the picture, so i wont ***** about it. that should leave pac vs the other garcia, cause arums cut is too big for a crawford fight. i can live with those 2.

    i always said that was the logical fight for mikey when he moved up to welter, i think they both lost a fat check there.
