It probably means very little but Taylor looks very fired up for this. He’s trying desperately hard to rattle Prograis and goad him to a war. It’s just my opinion but you do this when you want your opponent to abandon their own game plan and fight your fight. Which might suggest that he’s not as confident in doing a number on Prograis if it’s a chess match type of fight and wants to use his size in a battle of attrition.
Taylors antics could backfire on him....Prograis is normally a slow starter. By being do obnoxious to him Taylor has probably revved Regis up to where he gets going right from the start. Hope so anyway. Love to see Taylor shut up for once. Such a dislikeable guy. Nobody likes a thug.
Hard to pick this one both like to bully the opposition, Taylor I think has edge in speed and can counter punch as shown if the O’Hara Davis fight so perhaps leaning towards him but when 2 southpaws meet anything can happen.
Hopefully It's just a bit of banter scissors..Would love to know his real reasons for having such a unjustified hatred for a elite and consummate professional boxer?
Heis nasty. Furthermore unlike you I don't consider his behaviour to be the actions of a "consummate professional boxer" as you put it. Consummate azzwhole more like! It's simple really I just don't like nasty bullies ...(.and I enjoy a wind up..)
This fight kinda reminds me of when Darren Barker fought Felix Sturm. The vast majority on here thought it was either a 50-50 fight or Barker would win. I was literally the only one who could see Darren Barker had no chance.
The one thing about Prograis that everyone seems to be overlooking is how hard he hits. He really is a killer puncher. For me Taylors only chance is to take the pace of the fight to a level Regis isn't able to cope with. He might be able to do it but I doubt it.
