    “Of course this will be a tougher fight for me than Andre Ward. Ward was a dirty fighter, he was not a real fighter. If boxing had a division between 175 and 200, I would move up, too. My goal is the same, to defend my titles until I retire.”

    Kovalev did beat Ward the first time

    Second time was a nonsensical stoppage, Kovalev was leading up to that point in the fight.

    Ward ducked the 3rd fight

    Canelo is PED dirty but clean in style. Ward is style dirty but PED clean relative to Canelo. Both enjoy dirty judging. Kellerman has more dirty thoughts about Ward than Canelo.

    Well it’s no secret about Ward being a dirty fighter.We talking about a guy who has thrown deliberate elbows lol.
    I’ve often thought for those that defend this stuff, imagine what would happen if everyone fought that way?

    Lol is that what they call it?
    May as well just have two fighters punch each other in the nuts and see who goes down first lol.
    Ward by the way does not fight like this in tune up fights.I noticed against Barrera he boxed beautifully and it’s only the big fights where he spoils his way to victory.

    I had Kova winning the first fight. I also feel that the rematch was inexcusably stopped on a low blow.

    Both those being said... I felt like Ward adapted to Kova and, fouls aside, was showing to be the better fighter, was taking more and more control as rounds went on and would have become more dominant the more they fought.

    I feel Ward is superior to Canelo and that theres no way Canelo is a tougher fight than Ward.... even with this being a prime Canelo and a past prime Kova.

    Kovalev just loves throwing shade Ward’s way.

    This. Everyone knew that Ward is a dirty fighter long before he fought Kovalev. When Kovalev was getting hit with low blows he should’ve returned the favor instead of quitting and complaining. Kovalev only has himself to blame.

    Ward also fought brilliant fights vs Froch, where he landed over 100 jabs, and Dawson who he absolutely destroyed. And Dawson was coming off a win vs B-Hop and was 31-1 at the time. Andre had a phenomenal skillset and a beautiful jab. Kov is just still bitter about the fights with Ward.

    Dawson was KO'd in sparring by Edison Miranda and he was also drained.

    I'd agree with this, I've scored Kovalev Ward 1 four times and had it for Kovalev twice, Ward once and a draw.
    So Ward winning wasn't a bad decision, just the A side getting the benefit of the doubt. Which has been happening for decades.
    The second fight was horrendous judging imo, but what can we do, and if Ward was DQ'd you'd have the same controversy going the other way. Again, the benefit of the A side.
    Ward adapted well towards the end of the first fight, and was clearly going to win the rematch anyway.

    And I'm a huge Krusher fan
