Whenever he does some commentary or analysis he knows his stuff. Always comes across as someone who could make the transition into training.
Paddy and Andy can learn together "on the job". But Quigley needs a major transformation and he needs it quick. As in today. It's all over for Quigley as things stand IMO. Can't see Andy doing much with him to be honest. Now another boxer I'd written off has undergone such a transformation ... Tommy McCarthy. I know one swallow doesn't make a summer, or one win a champion, but Pete Taylor seems to have the magic touch with Tommy. ( Let's face it, anyone who can turn Tommy McCarthy into a boxer must be a training genius!!). Go with Pete, Jason.
I dont think McCarthys issue was ever talent, it was motivation. He was a top class amateur after all.
Mick Conlan rematch versus Niktin is on for December in MSG Maybe a step back for Conlan but a victory i think he needs.
Good for the Irish fans, nice payday for Christmas. Nice exposure in the US again also , its a big card. Id love to go, flights aren't too expensive, just too close to Xmas for me
