    Every new boxing fan has a 'moment' where they get into the sport for the first time through a favourite fighter (mostly from the same region as them), then learning about all the possible guys he can face before moving on to other fighters. I remember I had to kind of force myself to watch boxing orginally before finally falling in love with all the intricacies.

    KSI and Logan Paul have 20 million followers each on youtube, mostly all young kids, all of whom will have heard they are fighting each other and most of them will have an opinion on how it will play out. There's also Logan's brother Jake who has a similiar following who is getting into pro boxing too and may possibly face KSI in the future.

    Hopefully they don't **** this up, and a good fight ending with a TKO in the main event would be great. I can see Devin Haney on the undercard getting plenty of following should they match him right. It's vital Haney gets a rugged, come forward guy.

    No...it's NOT. These followers are punk kids who are their fans, not necessarily sports fans.

    I don't think it's particularly big for boxing.

    The rematch will likely be their first and last foray into professional boxing. One off fights like this may be good for the competitors, but they don't mean much for the sport.

    Even if they get millions of viewers, most will likely watch through illegal streams, like they did for the first fight. The vast majority will probably skip the undercard.

    The gains for boxing will be marginal at best.

    Did you not get the memo? They are NOW. But we could get tonnes of future boxing fans as a result of it.

    Boxing is becoming 'cool' again.

    The Press conferences on youtube have had millions of views, the first fight and this one will have millions of views on youtube, permanently out there for people to cross (as long as both remain relevant). This is not just on the night views, the whole build up has people talking and thinking of boxing, and even after the fight they will be. If a 12 year old kid watches it on an illegal stream or not, he's still digesting boxing as a sport.

    There's young kids coming into boxing who cite Tyson as their idol or hero, even though he hasn't set foot in the ring for 15 years. Youtube makes this immortal.

    How can it not be true? When two YouTube personalities with 20 million + each subscribers are constantly making videos with boxing content (training, sparring, etc). How can this not rub off on younger viewers? A lot of them will want to try it for themselves. Both guys seem to genuinely love the sport too. There's also other big YouTubers like Jake Paul, FouseyTube and KSI's brother Deji boxing too. When a lot of the big names these kids watch are constantly promoting the sport, it's got to be good.

    I you are a big fan of either of these two idiots you are not a sports fan and this is just spectacle. Most of their fans couldn't care less about any other fight on that card and will likely tune in for their fight or stream it later. Their first fight did absolutely nothing for boxing and will do just as much this time.

    No. It did well with You Tubers that follow them. Who cares how big the fight is now it doesn't help boxing little if at all. Did you see any significant increase in boxing viewership and ppv sales after their first fight? If so show me how it is because of their first fight. Nobody outside of the YT sphere gives a flying f#%k about this fight. Its entertainment not sport. How old are you btw?

    You have many detractors for this opinion, but I must admit that you're quite correct. I believe this is good for expanding the reputation of boxing among this currently mostly disinterested generation. Many young people are gaining interest in boxing itself in order to gain an understanding of what they're watching. This will be a net positive for all involved no matter what and I'm glad for it. If kids take up the sport to become tough guys, so be it. That's part of the culture, I'm willing to accept that. If they take it up for fun, good stuff too. If they only become an armchair fan, who cares? Money in the pocket of the fighters. There's nothing bad that can come from this, especially in the long run. The more boxing fans there are the more entertaining this sport becomes, it'll be a good watch too. At least the undercard will be, which I'll be tuning into.
