I feel Primo was one of the worst heavyweight champs in history, but was he really that bad?

I believe he mastered "The Shift"... so he can't be all bad.

'The lost art of Primo Carnera'

This already has more responses than Gonzalez vs Carbajal...

Probably better boxer than Jess Willard.

Best pure boxer I ever saw. He had an educated left jab. At 6-5 he could control anyone from the outside. Very, very cocky and confident. The good solid right hand behind that jab. Nobody could beat this guy when he was on his game. Ask Jack Sharkey.

You even question Godfather Preem's skills? He had the dexterity of jello and showed defensive genius against a Kangaroo

That video genuinely really annoyed me. Everyone was loving what was horrendous and cruel.

I wish they had put him in with stiffer competition after that, and quite literally fed him to the Tigers.

Oh yes, he was silky smooth, his jab was like a well oiled piston with pin point accuracy.

His recorded fights are like gold dust

It has been said that the 1956 movie, The Harder They Fall, starring Humphrey Bogart, was a depiction of Primo Carnera. Toro Moreno is supposed to be Carnera.

I think Alan Minter boxed a kangaroo too, about 50 years after Primo Carnera did it!
