If Canelo has success against Kovalev, will the pressure be on Old Man Loma to move up and fight TC?

Yes, exactly. Canelo himself boils down to 160 as well. That's why there was a 10 lbs rehydration clause with that fight to make sure Jacobs doesn't out-rehydrate Canelo. On fight night Jacobs still might have been just a bit bigger, but it wasn't a significant difference.

AFAIK there's no rehydration clause with Canelo vs Kovalev. That's why I expect Canelo to be significantly smaller this time around.

Folk don’t seem to associate sheer bulk with size.Who was the Russian guy who fought at Middleweight and is now in Jail?He was a midget in the ring and yet making 160 was difficult for him.

You're talking about this guy I suppose

He was like half N'Dam's height when they fought yet he wasn't really smaller chasing the guy around like a bulldog.

Lmao. Jacobs looked like an absolute giant next to canelo. This is straight up mental gymnastics. Canelo is 5'8 at best with short arms. Danny Jacobs is 6'1 and is just as muscular as canelo

Public call outs have been apart of the sport forever. I'm not even saying he should do this, just that he should be pursuing these fights. Yet I see blowback from his fans as if he shouldn't be

Thought that was their job lol.
We should know by now that all that social media stuff is often garbage and comes to nothing ie Wilder and Joshua and even Canelo and Golovkin. When both sides are serious fights still get made the same way as they always have imo.

Ok look at their legs and tell me they are of the same built with the only difference in length:
    Jacobs: https://www.premierboxingchampions.com/sites/default/files/mora-jacobs-recap_1.jpg
    Canelo: https://media.punditarena.com/uploads/2016/05/529041092-660x330.jpg

    OK now?

I’m a fan of Crawford and Lomo and would have no desire to see Crawford beat up Lomo.Look at Spence beating Garcia he wouldn’t get any credit.
That said I think both have suffered from dominating weak divisions.
I learnt my lesson not to call fighters without knowing the score as I was convinced Brook was avoiding folk until he took on Golovkin out of desperation and then Spence.
