This fight was decided on speed and skill ,i cant remember at any point going ' loma wouldn't have been able to do that if he didn't have a size advantage'

We found out that while rig goblin is an incredible boxer he just isn't as good as lomachenko.

Loma totally took away any offense rigo could create, this made him more and more disillusioned and demoralised.

He also couldn't stop loma from hitting him, loma isn't a basic come forward fight rigo likes. He attacks from angles relentlessly while keeping a tight defense and not allowing you to counter.

In response to this all rigo could do was cheat. The holding was bad but the worst thing he did constantly ducking his head to waist height and turning to the side. This basically makes it near impossible for your opponent to throw a punch at you with it being illegal.

Then came the quitting, rigos only way to survive was to cheat. When he got the point deduction for holding and a telling off for ducking he knew the jig was up and was about to get massacred. Instead of going out like a 2 time gold medalist and legend he went out like a *****. I think people quit against lomchenko because they feel helpless, you cant hit him and your just getting hit, i think people say whats the point. Like takam was taking a beating against Joshua but he kept going because he was having some success himself and wanted to continue on as he might have a shot, you don't get that glimmer of hope with loma.

Also this hand thing is bs, his hand wasn't even swollen. his corner were shaking their heads like ' your ****ing leaving us down' and the hand only seemed to be an issue after the referee was no longer allowing him to cheat to survive.

Also for all the boxing business men out there like quillin, rigo,Walters ,Russell jr, you need to fight regularly, not quit and don't have promotional problems if you want to make the mowt money.

Walters was the king business man always wanting more money. then he fights loma quits and sit on the shelf for a year and no one wants to see him fight becuase he may quit again. If they were so concerned about money then they wouldn't have quit and ruined there value as a fighter.

Loma is p4p the beat talent in boxing.

Lomachenko is the very best! He totally out classed Rigo, no contest!!!!!!! Danny Garcia said that Lomachenko has no chance, well, he was wrong!

They weren't before, but since they really need to credit Loma with a big win since he doesn't have one they might be willing to.

It's literally the same scenario, except Floyd came off a 2 year layoff fought the number 2 p4p fighter where as Loma was active and fighting an inactive former p4p fighter who was already at the end of his career

According to the Wilder haters :risas3:, they love to say Ortiz was 50, never bring up how Rigo looks 50 himself. Wilder beats a cuban in his own weight and they start crying about how Ortiz is really 50, Loma beats a cuban the same age but 2 divisions below and they're thinking of every way they can give him credit.

Loma’s best wins are better than you hero Crawford’s best wins. Better than Spence’s too for that matter.

Nope. Not at 130. I said Loma would whoop Rigo if he jumped 2 weight classes. Also I doubt I ever claimed he was ducking.

That's subjective. Imo Crawford's best wins are slightly better, but I wouldn't argue against Loma's being better if someone was firm on their stance. Just preference.

The fact that Loma has problems with guys his size, like Linares and Campbell who have half Rigondeaux's talent, contradicts your position right off the top. If you made Linares and Campbell 5'3 or 5'4, and super bantams who moved up two weight classes to challenge Loma, they wouldn't give Lomachenko, any semblance of a problem either. He'd probably stop both of them in three or four rounds by KO. On the other hand, if you made old Rigo, their size. The Loma fight turns out significantly different.

Younger prime pound for pound talent will always trump older past prime, smaller, pound for pound talent, and honestly, Rigo started folding mentally after the first couple rounds, repeatedly trying to out muscle a bigger younger man, instead of trying to solve the puzzle with his boxing.
