Holyfield must be ahead of Lewis p4p. And clearly IMO. Holy was a cruiser, and Lennox was a much bigger, taller and heavier HW. Both had great resumes, both have beaten 10+ title beltholders at HW. Holy scored some very good wins at CW too. Holy beat 7 different lineal HW champions to Lewis' 4.

Excellent list. Hey man, nobody agrees with anyones list entir e ly. Yours is solid. I love S a m as 1. Lewis was a great fighter and I can't wait till my book on the Basher arrives. Lennox was great a nd avoided like the plague. Face it, about 45 different guys ccould be legit top 20 fights , with 10 or more in position to be #1. Your list is a solid compliment to other li sts in history. P. S. I love where you have Walker.

You may need to think more about Duran's lightweight reign of terror. He was 63-1 when he left 135 for the last time and reigned for 5+ years with heaps of defenses and a unification. Having said that i enjoy seeing Leonard well up there. I wonder if Joe Louis could sneak up a bit. Guys Ike Williams, Zarate, Holman Williams, Canzoneri, McGovern and Azumah Nelson would have come close among others i reckon.
