Josh Taylor vs. Regis Prograis & Dereck Chisora vs. David Price + Yves Ngabu vs. Lawrence Okolie RBR

I thought that was a bit of a home town decision tbh. It was close but had that been in America Prograis would have won.

 

Haney got the better of Porter in sparring too lol. But in a pro fight, beating Porter is damn near impossible unless you're as good as a boxer as Brook and stronger than Porter. Or a special talent like EJ!

 

Well, depends on the eyes watching i guess. I didn't see Prograis winning 6 rounds. But whatever, great fight - and the right man won.

 

Yeah don't worry, not the first time someone's done that.

Although I agree, a near shut out for Prograis would've been the worst card on here.

 

One thing about these tournaments is we get some great 50/50 fights.I do wonder though if the judges would ever score a draw even if it was a normal obvious nailed on draw.Because of the time involved staging these things and that bloody huge trophy I doubt they would ever score a draw?

 

Had it 115-113 Prograis but could see it the other way also. Shame on the judge with 117-112 score. I thought Prograis won most of the early rounds with Taylor coming on in the middle rounds. I had it even going into round 11 and had Prograis wining 11 and 12.

Good fight, I would like to see them go at it again. Hats off to both fighters.

 

Josh Taylor v Prime Kell Brook at 147. What a fight that would have been. Really hope Josh steps up soon, think the talent pool there leads to better, more competitive fights.

115-113 Taylor for me but 114-114 was also fair, not sure how the judge had 117-112.

 

Crowd reactions probably influenced his/her card. The fans were wildly cheering everything that hit gloves or even thin air, even that idiot Darren Barker was calling them as scoring shots.

 

Junkies Joe Laws is p4p though.. Can't hold that against Haney!

 

WTF is that DAZN theme tune loop ?, would be served better in some lunatic asylum or in a gaff for monks.

 

What a fight! Razor close, could have gone either way. Taylor’s inside work was what kept Prograis from hurting him. I really thought Prograis was going to hurt him. Hats off to Taylor and Prograis!

 

Kov v Canelo next week now, ****ing surreal fight. Hope my boy Yarde flys out there to storm the ring after.
