    Great bout.

    But 117 - 111!? What the ****?

Prograis has really made me a fan with his indomitable spirit and class in defeat. Great fighter, and I'd love to see him back in the ring in the UK.

Taylor is a phenomenal fighter as well, and this win only cements it. Unfortunately he's come off as a d***head in the lead up, which makes it a bit hard to unreservedly root for him.

I think he’s won everyone over, coming over to the U.K. three weeks in advance and putting it all out there I really hope he get some nothing but respect for this.
Another 50/50 fight that delivers with neither opponent “destroying” the other as fanboys so like to predict.
I doubt there’s will be a rematch though and personally if Taylor is to move up I’d like to see him fight three or four times a year in some showcase fights to learn more.
I was dead against his fight with Postal on account of him being so green, could easily fast track the kid to a loss if they’re not careful imo.

Darren Barker is an awful commentator. A typical sky cheerleader.

Yes as they nearly always know how they’ve done in there imo.

I disliked him for years for taking that fight in Germany knowing he was injured. A lot of his fans flew out for that none the wiser. His recent antics as a Matchroom cheerleader have solidified that mild dislike into rampant hatred.

He has the size to compete. I think he could beat Thurman. I don't see him out muscling Spence, or outboxing Crawford. He'd probably get mutilated by Ennis.

    7 - 5 or 6 - 6 is an acceptable score in my view.

He’s really grown on me has Porter.seems to take his losses too well imo as you never see him get a break with the judges in close fights.

I think that Taylor won the fight but that 117/ 112 score was proof that Prograis would not win a decision.

I wouldn't really argue, though I'd pick Taylor.

Had this 114-114 live, was surrounded by Scots who cheered even air punches, which could sway that 117-112 judge. Super close fight at a super high standard. Loved it.

Yes surreal being the operative word.Ive gonna back n forth over this and CST80 convinced me Canelo was in a whole lot of trouble.
Call me a tinfoil hat wearer though as my head can’t get round the fact that Canelo being the face of boxing and worth hundreds of millions: I just can’t see Canelo losing this one in any shape or form.Kovalev may as well just lie down and take his loss lol.
