Price not in a good shape tonight?

I don't understand Price's complete lack of a meaningful jab. For a very tall fighter with a long reach he completely ignores his physical advantages and lets anyone half decent (i.e above Dave Allen level) easily get on the inside where it's pretty much game over.

Anyway all too late to change now. Probably time to retire Pricey.

Price came in the same lanky box-like shape with peanut head and flabby but weirdly ripped body he always comes in as. His consistency is admirable.

 

He's just not good enough above British level.

 

He doesn't jab and move effectively for someone with his physical attributes. Chisora got inside whenever he wanted without having to work for it. If he could jab and move half as well as Fury he'd be such a better fighter.

 

Odds are Linda Hamilton knocks him out cold too.

 

I would of thought his modest house is paid for, and surely he must have £1m in his bank account by now. He is clearly fighting to build his bank balance, and he is probably thinking a couple more fights and that will do him. He don't come across as someone that will blow money like some do.

There’s a case to be made that audley had a better career than price which 6 years ago would have been unthinkable.

Price falls short of Audley I’m afraid

 

When he was in the clinches and therefore sure Chisora couldn't see his expression, he let slip a look of fear and shock, as if he couldn't quite compute the savagery coming back at him. It was only when his brain was scrambled at the end of the third that he let his hands go, more through instinct than anything.

Price is a regular guy trapped in the physique of heavyweight boxer. He's not a fighter at heart or between the ears. The lad's done well with these huge flaws but needs to call it a day...

 

I remember Price in the studio when Audley was fighting, he was commenting on A Forces last lost, people were ripping him, not Pricey, stood on his own and said, "I feel for him hes better than this", and got quite excited with was it Richard Keyes, im not sure, but Pricey is a very decent human being with empathy.

I do remember this, but price wouldn’t join in the micky taking.

 

He's way too slow to he effective at world level. Chisora saw everything, and it's not like he is the most fleet guy, either.

 

So Chisora got the job done faster than Povetkin vs Price, Wilder vs Spilka and AJ vs Takam

That's put some perspective right there. But there's one thing Audley don't have. A fully qualified certificate in gas engineering. Price should stick and flush that gold medal of Harrison's down the toilet. This was just a setback against Chisora. He actually suffered a arm injury putting a radiator on the wall.
